Delta doesn’t have any major trickery in its logo. Instead, the logo side next to the company name forms the Delta symbol which is the fourth letter of the Greek alphabet. It also reflects the airline’s roots in the Mississippi Delta region, and the white lines suggest a plane’s wings — specifically those of Delta’s first jet aircraft, the DC-8.
